Mumbai: An employee of a dairy was booked by Kasturba Marg Police for killing a stray dog. The incident occurred on Monday. The police complaint was lodged by a 26-year-old man who works in an events company and is also associated with an animal welfare group. Around 11:45am on July 15, he was informed that one of the dogs was lying on Dattapada Road.He rushed to the location and was told that the dog had been playing near the Ram temple around 11:30am when Virendra Yadav, bludgeoned him with an iron spanner. The dog suffered serious head injuries and died. tnn
