NIRF 2024 Agriculture and Allied Category: The Ministry of Education on Monday, August 12 announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024. This year under agriculture and allied courses, Delhi’s Indian Agricultural Research Institute bagged the top spot followed by ICAR – National Dairy Research Institute, Punjab Agricultural University and Banaras Hindu University in second, third, and fourth spots respectively.

Here is the list of top 10 colleges under agriculture and allied categories:

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi also bagged the top spot in NIRF ranking in 2023, scoring 83.16. The second position in NIRF 2023 was secured by ICAR– National Dairy Research Institute in Karnal, Haryana with a score of 70.45.
Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana came third with a score of 65.98 and Banaras Hindu University came fourth with 63.68 points in 2023 rankings. The first four position have been same but in last year rankings, the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University with 61.71 points secured fifth spot while this year the position is secured by Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar.
