Bajaj Auto Ltd is proud to announce its partnership with Amul, India’s iconic dairy brand. Together, the two iconic, nation-building brands have flagged off the Amul Clean Fuel Rally — a remarkable journey powered by Bajaj Auto’s flagship commuter bike, the Bajaj Freedom 125. With a focus on clean fuel, sustainability, and self-sufficiency, this rally aligns the shared vision of both brands to drive a greener, more empowered India.
The rally commenced from the Bajaj Auto Campus in Akurdi, and was flagged off by Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto Ltd., and Mr. Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF – Amul).
The journey will traverse through key cities in Maharashtra and Gujarat-Mumbai, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Statue of Unity, Godhra, Himmatnagar, Palanpur, Mehsana, and Ahmedabad before reaching its final destination in New Delhi, Covering over 4,100 kilometers. This journey symbolizes the commitment of both Bajaj Auto and Amul to India’s sustainable future and their ongoing efforts to support rural development and environmental conservation.
This initiative represents a significant milestone in India’s commitment to circular economy and sustainable mobility. The rally will make strategic stops at various Amul facilities and dairy cooperatives, demonstrating how clean fuel technologies can create a self-sustaining ecosystem that benefits both dairy farmers and the environment. At each stop, participants will engage with local communities to showcase how CNG-powered vehicles like the Freedom 125 contribute to reducing carbon emissions while maintaining high performance standards.
