Kullu: The driver of a private bus died after the heavy vehicle hit a truck near Sundernagar in Mandi on the Chandigarh-Manali highway.
As per the police, the accident happened late Thursday night when the driver lost control of his vehicle and it hit a truck moving ahead of it. The driver of the bus was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.He has been identified as Rup Singh, 52, said the police.
Few tourists also suffered minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital.

Bathinda: The Moga district administration has started a coaching centre to help the aspirants prepare for the civil services examination, making it the first district in Punjab to start such a centre. Moga DC Kulwant Singh inaugurated the centre on Friday. After a week-long orientation, 50 boys and girls will be selected on basis of merit to get coaching for one year. The coaching will focus on both preliminary and mains examination.
