This comes a day after 14 persons were charred to death after a massive fire broke out at a firecracker shop-cum-godown on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Saturday. The crackers worth crores were gutted into the fire that took place at a firecracker shop in Attibele. Four bikes and three four-wheelers were also completely destroyed in the incident.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed grief over the death of people in the tragedy. Adding, the chief minister said a thorough investigation would be done and appropriate actions would be taken against the shop owner.
“A tragic incident in Bengaluru has claimed the lives of 14 people. I do not have the detailed information right now. We need to investigate whether the shop had the necessary licenses and safety precautions in place. A thorough investigation will be done and appropriate actions will be taken against the shop owner. This devastating event serves as a stark reminder of the importance of safety measures to prevent such tragedies in the future,” CM Siddaramaiah said as quoted by news agency ANI.
