Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday to discuss issues related to animal husbandry and dairy development in the state. Yadav announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Dairy Development Board aimed at enhancing milk production.
Yadav expressed his satisfaction with the collaborative efforts under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, emphasizing that the agreement will benefit farmers in 11,000 villages. He assured that the Indian government would continue to support these initiatives, ensuring fair milk prices that contribute to farmers’ economic prosperity.
Union Minister Amit Shah highlighted the need for such initiatives across the state and discussed the ongoing Regional Industry Conclaves that aim to drive economic growth and employment. The meeting also covered the approval to procure soybean at the Minimum Support Price, further supporting farmer welfare.
