Mother Dairy gets 21 plots for milk booths off Yamuna expressway: YEIDA has allotted 21 plots of 100 sqm each to Mother Dairy for setting up milk booths in Sectors 18 and 20 along Yamuna Expressway. Another 27 plots will be handed over soon to expand the network further. The move aims to ensure easy access to milk and dairy products for residents in new sectors. Each plot has been leased for 90 years at a total cost of Rs 3.5 crore. The booths will be built by Mother Dairy at its own cost, following Delhi Urban Art Commission-approved designs. YEIDA’s scheme, launched last March, offers plots only to national or state-level cooperatives or members of the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India. tnn
