
Mother Dairy, a subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), has announced plans to invest Rs 400 crore in Nagpur. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari revealed that the government would provide 10 hectares of land for this project. During a press conference highlighting the achievements of the Narendra Modi government over the past nine years, Gadkari, who is also the Member of Parliament for Nagpur, stated that the proposed dairy unit would supply its products throughout the country.
Regarding employment generation, Gadkari mentioned that the Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN) had already provided jobs to 68,000 individuals. MIHAN accommodates various firms and has contributed to the growth of both the public and private sectors in terms of employment.
