
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Union Home Minister Amit Shah may bring several gifts for Madhya Pradesh during his visit for theGlobal Investors Summit to be held in Bhopal.
During the summit itself, the Madhya Pradesh government will sign an MoU with NDDB (National Dairy Development Board), and through this, Sanchi milk will be branded at the national level. The government has clarified that there will be no change in the name of the Sanchi brand. On the other hand, the MD of MP State Cooperative Dairy Federation has been sent for training before this MoU.
A collaboration agreement will be signed between MP State Cooperative Dairy Federation Limited and associated milk unions and the National Dairy Development Board on February 25 at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Centre.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government has taken this decision to double the income of the milk producers of the state and promote milk production.
The cabinet has already approved the collaboration agreement between MP State Co-operative Dairy Federation Limited and associated milk unions and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). The duration of this contract will be 5 years, which can be extended with mutual consent.
What the agreement means?
Milk collection to go up from 10.5 lakh kilograms per day to 20 lakh kilograms per day.
A milk committee collects milk from 1 to 3 villages. Now 9k committees can be set up, covering nearly 20,000 villages of the state.
Collection centers will be set up in every Gram Panchayat.
The processing capacity of milk unions will be increased.
The villages covered by NDDB through Milk Producer Organizations (MPO) will be increased from nearly 1400 1390 to nearly 2600.
The milk procurement will be increased from 1.3 lakh kg to 3.7 lakh kg per day.

A target has been set to double the total annual income of milk producers from Rs 1700 crore to Rs 3500 crore.
The number of milk committees will be increased. As a result of all this, there will be an unprecedented increase in the income of milk producers.
BJP’s Sankalp Patra will also be implemented
BJP has promised in its Sankalp Patra to fix milk procurement in the state and to get the right price of milk to the farmers, which the state government has taken as its priority. Through this MoU, Sankalp Patra-2023 will also be implemented.
For this, dairy cooperative societies and collection centres are to be opened in every Gram Panchayat. Under the White Revolution Mission, the number of milk coolers, mini dairy plants, and chilling centres will be increased along with Sanchi Dairy in every district with an investment of two and a half thousand crores. This will strengthen the cooperative system and the Sanchi brand under the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department of the state.
