Vadodara: The National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Limited (NCDFI), the apex body of dairy cooperatives, has elected Meenesh Shah as its chairman. Shah is chairman and managing director of the Anand-headquartered National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). Shah was unanimously elected as chairman in the elections conducted on Friday by Praveen Chaudhary, Anand district collector, who served as the returning officer.
On Thursday, NCDFI in its general body meeting had elected eight directors on the board including Shah as representative of Jharkhand Milk Federation and Shamal Patel from Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation. S Regupathi, executive director of NDDB is the nominated director on the board
NCDFI has 20 regular members, 14 associate members while NDDB is its institutional member.tnn
