CHANDIGARH: Progressive Dairy Farmers Association (PDFA) International Dairy & Agri Expo 2024 will be inaugurated by Parshottam Rupala, union minister for animal husbandry, fisheries and dairying, Government Of India on February 3. The three-day fair, which will attract dairy farmers from across the state, will be held at Cattle Fair Ground in Jagraon.
Daljit Singh, president, PDFA, informed, “The inauguration ceremony will be held at 11 am on Saturday and competition of breed will be held on the same day. On Day 2 there will be milking competitions, seminars, and farmers award ceremony, while the concluding day will also include competitions and prize distribution function.”
The Expo is an annual event that brings together stakeholders in the dairy and agricultural industries. The event showcases the latest innovations, technology, and products in these industries, while also providing a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and business opportunities, he added.
