The third edition of the “Transforming India Conclave 2024” began on September 1st at SSVM World School, Coimbatore, marking a significant event in the institution’s legacy of over 25 years in educational excellence. The three-day conclave, themed “Resilient Today, Sustainable Tomorrow,” aims to inspire India’s youth by bringing together visionary leaders, thinkers, and innovators.
The event was inaugurated by Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma (Retd.), India’s first astronaut, alongside Dr. Srimathy Kesan, Founder & CEO of Space Kidz India. They engaged in a discussion on “Beyond Earth: Navigating the Cosmos and Inspiring a Nation’s Future,” emphasising the role of space exploration in driving India’s growth. “Space exploration is more than a scientific endeavour; it is a testament to our relentless pursuit of knowledge and our collective aspiration to elevate humanity,” remarked Rakesh Sharma.
Dr. Manimekalai Mohan, Founder & Managing Trustee of SSVM Group of Institutions, highlighted the conclave’s focus on resilience and sustainability. “As we celebrate over two decades of educational excellence, we remain focused on inspiring students to push boundaries, embrace innovation, and build a sustainable and dynamic future,” she said.
The event also featured addresses from prominent figures such as social entrepreneur Dushyant Savadia, who spoke on pioneering sustainable pathways, and journalist Palki Sharma, who led a session on redefining narratives in a world of noise. Dr. Rupinder Singh Sodi, President of the Indian Dairy Association, discussed revolutionising rural India beyond the dairy industry.
