Dairy farmers fed up with ties to Guj, want a milk policy in Raj
Dairy farmers in Jalore and Sirohi districts in Rajasthan are unhappy with both the BJP and Congress parties. They sell their cow milk to Banas Dairy in Gujarat, which has collection centers in every village in these districts. The farmers are demanding a similar setup in Rajasthan to get a better price for their milk. They plan to vote for candidates who promise a concrete policy for dairy farmers. Both BJP and Congress have failed to ensure that milk is utilized within Rajasthan instead of being sent to Gujarat.
